'The Fisherman’s Tribute is
commissioned for the Port of Everett in
recognition of the
important contributions and impact of the once vibrant fishing industry on the local and regional economy. The Tribute was composed on an existing pedestal and reflects the sites triangular composition of both the base and the sail boats in the connected marina. The authentic clothing’s compositional lines add to the dramatic tension of pulling back on the net. All the lines of the sculpture where carefully considered to accent this quality. Dedicated 2011 to the newly competed Port of Everett’s Administration Building.
